Hi all

I have question about OCRAM_PXP.

I can't understand which memory use in default in each case

Q1.

Is OCRAM_PXP always used when PXP (rotation, superimposition, CSC) is used ?

Q2.

My recognition is that PXP is not used when outputting from LCDIF to LCD through the camera.
In this case, is it correct  that OCRAM_PXP is not used ?

Hello,

OCRAM_PXP mainly is used, when  the PXP and LCDIF support a mode where

the internal RAM serves as  frame buffer to minimize external memory bandwidth.

Also, You may look at Figure 13-87 (PXP Architecture) of i.MX7D RM, showing Internal
RAM using. So, it is not recommended to use OCRAM_PXP, when the PXP is working.

It is possible to implement data path from CSI camera to LCD without PXP.

Also, please look at About OCRAM_S in i.MX7Solo

Have a great day,
Yuri
