Can software for both the M4 and M7 cores of a i.MX RT1170 be developped using the MCUxpresso IDE?

Hi @simmania ,

  Yes, of course, you can use the mcuxpresso to program both the CM7 and cm4 on RT1170.

  Please download the RT1170 SDK:

https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/zh/builder?hw=MIMXRT1170-EVK

Then you can find the document:

SDK_2_13_10_MIMXRT1170-EVK\docs\Getting Started with MCUXpresso SDK for MIMXRT1170-EVK.pdf

Please refer to chapter 3.4 Build a multicore example application

Then you will know how to run both CM7 and CM4 core.
