On Imx8mp linux (5.4.70), is it possible to increase MTU size > 1500 for eth0 ? (fec 30be0000)
I tried to do that and got the below
ifconfig eth1 mtu 2000
SIOCSIFMTU: Invalid argument
I see that various similar posts regarding this such as

Are these applicable to imx8mp processor as well ? (fec ethernet port, eth0)
Or are there any other patches which are officially supported?
Any guidance on this will be appreciated,
