Hello,

i selected JTAG_MOD = 0 in Hardware to debug i.MX6:

pastedImage_0.png

To check the placement, a boundary scan IEEEE1149.1 will be needed.

It is not possible to populate or unpopulate the pull-down resistor at the pin JTAG_MOD.

Is it possible to select SJC only in Register or otherwise?

Is SW debug and boundary scan possible with the same Hardware?

thanks for your Information,

Mathias

this is unfortunately not possible. Also one can refer

to i.MX6 System Development User’s Guide

if you have special questions for boundary scan expert

suggest to elevate that using local fae channel

Is a boundary scan test possible, when the state of JTAG Controller JTAG_MOD = 0 ?

I think a question for a boundary scan expert.

Thank you Igor

Hi Mathias

unfortunately JTAG_MOD state can not be changed from software,

so seems sw debug and boundary scan can not be possible with

the same hardware.

Best regards

igor
