ISP calibration in Verdin imx8mp : "tuning-client" is missing in ISP-IMX output

Hello experts,

I am working on ISP tuning in Verdin imx8mp with our own camera

I have downloaded ISP-IMX(4.2.2.20.0) and ISP-VVCAM(5.15.52.2.1.0). With help of reference documents available, I can able to compile both and generated isp_media_server.

I can able to run isp_media_server successfully, and can able to get the stream in v4l2 as well as in gstreamer.

As a next step I have downloaded required ISP calibration tools (ISP_Tools_5.15_52_Rev6) with help of NXP FAE.

From the readme.txt in ISP_Tools_5.15_52_Rev6, I can understand, I need to start tuning-client in target. But I could not find any files related to tuning-client in ISP-IMX(4.2.2.20.0) output.

I have used ./build-all-isp.sh release partial and ./build-all-isp.sh debug partial commands to generate ISP-IMX files.

Kindly assist me to generate tuning-client file in order to start ISP calibration as well as support me during this process.

Hello,

You need to download the isp-imx-4.2.2.24.2.bin for the i.MX 8M Plus ISP SDK.

Kindly let me know on what basis we are deciding isp-imx version as well as isp-vvcam version. FYI, I am using Toradex BSP 6.0.0 which is based on NXP BSP L5.15.32_2.0.0
