Hello community,

Our customer ask us about reason of the specification change about VDD_SNVS_IN/VDD_HIGH_IN maximum

voltage range from 3.3V to 3.6V from imx6quad to imx6quadplus.

In EB810. it can show in section 18 Power.

By this document, it seems that reason is a max power consumption on VDD_SOC and NVDD_DRAM.

If both typical and maximum voltage are changed, I can understand.

But typical voltage keep a 3.0V.

Why does it change only maximum voltage range to 3.6V by max power consumption of VDD_SOC and

NVDD_DRAM?

Best regards,

Ishii.

Hi Ishii

it changed for more power design flexibility as allows more freedom

for input voltage and possible input voltage changes (instability) during power up

sequence. There is no special need to increase typical voltage as it increase power consumption.

Best regards
igor
