IMX6Q Video freeze at high temperature.

HI

I have a custom board with Imx6Q automative part,

I am running a video in loop , inside a temperature chamber at 60degreeC  , when the processor temperature reaches  above  95C the video freeze with Gstreamer crash ,

The processor is not locking up, I can rerun the script to play the video without power cycle but again when the temperature reaches near 95C the video Freeze.

If i run the video in ambient and if the processor temperature is maintained bellow 90 degree C ,  The video run fine without any issue,

Is there any suggestion or reason why the video freeze at this temperature.

Is there a reason why we need to reduce the temp limit from 125 to 115 ?

Hi,

The driver of the temperature monitor is imx_thermal.c, you can adjust the upper limit temperature to 115°C, and then test it again.

Thank you Weidong, I hope you are taking about the passive trip limit? 

however the temp reading I am getting from the sysfs

/sys/class/thermal_zone/temp gives 95 degree C and still it Freeze .
