Hello,

Now I'm trying the realtime converting video format from MPEG2 to H.264.
But the i.MX8M doesn't have more performance to convert at realtime.
I don't know another way so,
If you know, would you like to let me know something cases about this?

my environment is below.
CPU: i.MX8M
RAM: 4GB
OS: Android 11

Best regards,

normally vpu(HW) can do this job, but imx8mq vpu doesn't support encoder, so you only can do this by SW(CPU)

Yes, I use imx8mq.

What I want to do is encoding MPEG2 to H.264.
That means a source is MPEG2, and I want to get a video converted to H.264.
If it is occured something decoding in that process, It doesn't matter.
