How can i run freertos on M7 and Linux on A53 independent of each other

FreeRTOS is running on M7 and Linux on A53.

When Linux crashes or reboots, M7 core is also restarted.

I am running critical tasks on M7 which need to continue running even if Linux reboots. How to do this?

Do we need additional hardware support also to achieve this? and what are the software changes?

i.MX8MP can't realize such function. The M7 platform does not have its own power domain, which means the M7 will be always reset when Linux reboot.

You can choose i.MX8ULP/i.MX7ULP, i.MX8QM/i.MX8QXP which has independent M core power domain.
