Dear All,

I created the EMMC Partition with ext4 filesystem type and I planning to flash some data (maybe dummy data.ext4) on that.

Will you please guide me to flash and check the newly created partition in Linux ?

I have some doubts,

1. Do I needs to create any mount point to flash the Userdata in Linux ?

2. Is there any other way to check (flash/write and read) newly created EMMC Partition ?

Hello Vinothkumars,

Please note that accordingly to eMMC specifications boot partition size is fixed during production.
Its size is defined in EXT_CSD structure of the eMMC.
So please make sure that you does not touch boot partition during updating partitions, also disabling udev cache.

Regards.
