There appears to be playback issue with the NXP native video player. Some video will play for 6 seconds then stop. It’s happening on:

  1. Chimera software

  2. WebView Browser Tester

Chrome apk (https://apkpure.com/google-chrome-fast-secure/com.android.chrome/download?from=details)

Steps to reproduce.
1. Make sure the app data is clear
  a. pm clear org.chromium.webview_shell
  b. pm clear org.chromium.chrome
2. Browse to https://youtube.jfit.co
3. Search for video
4. Play the  video
5. After 6 seconds, the video freezes

Are you using the latest version Android P9.0.0_2.3.0 (4.14.98 kernel)?

What is the value of the CMA you set?

Could you please try it on the latest version?

According to the Android User;s Guide, CMA cannot exceed 1184 MB.

I have tested P90.0._2.3, it is normal
The default is 1280M.
But I am using P9.0.0_1,
The preset is also 1280M
But it will go wrong,
I am changing to 800M, it is the same mistake.
Is there a suggested setting?

Do you mean P9.0.0_2.3.0 don't have the issue you met?

Yes, it didn't happen.
Do not understand the reason for the difference,
Is the VPU processing problem correct in P9.0.0_2.3?
