ESAI+CS42888: support for multichannel on i.MX 8 QM

Hello! According to release notes for Android automotive-10.0.0_1.1.0 and android-10.0.0_2.2.0-AUTO, there is no support for multichannel for ESAI+CS42888 codec on i.MX 8QuadXPlus/8QuadMax MEK. Can you explain why? We plan to use i.MX 8 QM + ESAI + CS42888 in our custom board and need multichannel audio support.

P.S. For release notes see https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/supporting-information/android_automotive-10.0.0_1.1.0_docs.zip  and https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/supporting-information/android_automotive-10.0.0_2.2.0_docs.zip , "Android_Release_Notes.pdf", section "4 Features", description of "Media - Music Play" Feature in the table.

For other releases, for example https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/supporting-information/android_Q10.0.0_2.0.0_docs.zip  - the same table in section "4 Features" says that multichannel support depends on processor - see "ESAI+CS42888 for i.MX 8QuadMax (not support multichannel)" and "ESAI+CS42888 for i.MX 8QuadXPlus (supports multichannel)" text in the table.

freescale\dts\boot\arm64\arch - linux-imx - i.MX Linux kernel
