Hi,

We are working on a custom board around iMX8M processor. We have a component assembly limitation for 0201 packages.

On iMX8M EVK board, 0201 decoupling caps are used on processor power rails. 

Can we use 0402 packages for iMX8M decoupling caps? If yes, What are the design considerations & recommendations?

Hello Ritesh,

We strongly suggest that you keep within 0201 capacitors and do not change it.
