Could install linux on i.MX6Q sabreSD board without SDcard?

Hi everyone

I want to install the linux on i.MX6Q sabreSD board without SDcard.

I've search many website, but I didn't find how to install the linux without SDcard.

Could install linux on i.MX6Q sabreSD board without SDcard?

If there is how to install?

Hi JooWon

you can write image to eMMC (soldered to SD4 port on

SabreSD), refer to attached Linux Guide, in MFG Tools

one needs to set name = SabreSD-eMMC in

cfg.ini file.

In kernel boot parameters one needs to use mmcblk0 for eMMC

instead mmcblk1 (it is for SD).

Hi you can download pre built binary from Freescale website.

Use mfgtool to upload binary.
