Hello,

In this moment, we are using kernel version 3.18.11 from osadl with real time support. My imx6dl works fine with jitters no more high that 100us, but it doesnt use official kernel from freescale.

My doubt is that official kernel from freescale support preempt real time patch ??

I just tried but when I compile, it has a lot of errors

Any advice?

Best regards.

Hi John

one can look at rt-patch

https://lists.yoctoproject.org/pipermail/meta-freescale/2015-July/014611.html

https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/3.10/older/patch-3.10.17-rt12.patch.bz2

official FSL BSP releases below seems do not support it

http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=RDIMX6SABREBRD&fpsp=1&tab=Design_Tool...

Best regards

igor
