Hi i.MX Champs.
A customer is trying to interface a 4098x2560 resolution LCD using the HDMI port of the iMX 8qm which is able to support upto 4096x2160@60Hz via HDMI 2.0a.
I would like to ask you if i.MX 8MQ can support 4098x2560 LCD via HDMI regardless of framerate.
Also, please let me know if there is an NXP processor that supports 8K display.
Thanks.
Regards,
James

Hello, here Jorge.
The maximum output resolution trough HDMI of the i.MX8MQ it is up to 4096x2160@60Hz.
I checked the display and the resolution it is more than the supported by the i.MX8MQ, I saw the part number on internet, and it comes with a HDMI adapter, please check if that adapter can rescale the 4K resolution from the i.MX8MQ to the 4098x2560 resolution of the DBT066MONO.
Best regards.
