documentation for the KW38 mentions that the "Radio Sea-of-Gates" is power-gated in certain VLLSx modes (as opposed to in "state retention" in the LLSx modes)....

does this mean that the (100s of) registers in the radio are NOT retained in VLLSx, and would be need to be re-initialized upon wakeup from VLLSx???

said another way, what is the lowest power configuration i can use on the KW38 such that i would NOT have to re-initialize the radio registers upon wakeup???

Hello,

Hope you are doing well. Some of our BLE examples comes with Low-Power modes enabled by default, causing that the device go to sleep during the example.

Could you please take a look at the Low Power Temperature Sensor and Collector examples?

You can find more information about these examples on section 5.14 of the "Bluetooth Low Energy Demo Applications User's Guide.pdf". (Path: SDK\docs\wireless\Bluetooth)

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Ricardo
