Hi,
If you are looking for what we call a "Wireless Microcontroller Hostless Product" (Wireless MCU with Integrated Radio), then you should have a look at table Wireless MCUs Hostless.
For instance, if you are looking for a 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4) Wi-Fi® Microcontroller SoC, you should select wifi only product 88MW320/322

Hi,
On product page 88MW320/322, if you check datasheet 88MW320-88MW322 - Wireless Microcontroller - IEEE 802.11n/g/b - Data sheet (public), you will see that it supports 3 x UART, 2 x I2C and MMC4 SDIO.
To ease integration, you can choose a module among Partner Modules.
But this product supports only wifi 4 (802.11n).
Isn't it better for you to have wifi 6 (802.11ax) ? If yes, then you need product RW610 which also supports bluetooth 5.3, SDIO 3.0 and can be configurated to support at least 2 x UART and 1 x I2C.

So the 1st question is : do you need wifi 4, 5 or 6 ?

Hi,

I understand you have chosen RW610 for your needs, right ?
Do you need 802.15.4 ? If yes, RW612 is the one you need.
Also, I undestand you prefer using a hostless product (including an application CPU (Arm Cortex-M33 here for RW610)) instead of an IoT Product such as IW611 combined with a i.Mx host . Right ?

Hi,
The best for you is to check dedicated page https://www.nxp.com/products/wireless/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4/2-4-5ghz-dual-band-1x1-wi-f...

3 other wifi 6 similar IoT products are also available and you can see their differences here for a better comparison : https://www.nxp.com/products/wireless/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4:WIFI-BLUETOOTH?tid=vanwifib...

For instance, if you choose IW611 (in charge of wireless connectivity), you can connect it to an i.Mx application processor (https://www.nxp.com/products/processors-and-microcontrollers/arm-processors/i-mx-applications-proces... as recommended on page https://www.nxp.com/products/wireless/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4/2-4-5ghz-dual-band-1x1-wi-f...

The Application Processor is in charge of i2c and uart connectivity.
Page https://www.nxp.com/products/wireless/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4:WIFI-BLUETOOTH?tid=vanwifib... also says that IW611 can be driven by RTOS, Linux or Android OS running on the Application Processor side (ex : i.Mx).

So, I think the best thing for you is to choose on this page one partner module which includes IW611 and the corresponding manufacturer (ublox, CEL, Murata or AzureWave) will help you to use it together with the application processor.

Hi,
It depends on which WiFi features and capabilities you are looking for.
Did you already check page https://www.nxp.com/products/wireless/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4:WIFI-BLUETOOTH?tid=vanwifib... ?
