How to configure 88W8997 for WAPI on linux ?

Hi,

I want to configure 88W8997 for WAPI on linux，but I don't know the method. Because I don't find the content about WAPI in the user‘s manual.

Would you tell me how do it ?  Thank you.

I will use 88W8997's driver and formware as follow link:

driver:

I don't know whether do this driver and firmware support WAPI ? Or does it still neet some other software for WAPI ?

9098 means 88W9098 and 88Q9098. So they support WAPI.

We have an application note for WAPI SUPPLICANT configuration.

it is on page of 88W8987, but usage is the same.

The information (document & screenshot) I gave you in last reply is the driver on github. you can use L6.1.36 BSP branch, the driver and firmware version is decribed in that document, you can check it.

Actually, 8997 is WIFI 5, and 8987 is also WiFi 5. So you can also select 88W8987.

The document is security file, if you don't have access right to download it.

You can contact distributor or moudle makers , they can guide you how to do it.

2. From the list below, 88W8997 doesn't support it

So please select correct WiFi chip for your application!
