Looking for Collision/Crash detection device

My customer looking for an accelerometer that suits crash detection (G Mid-range), I have found FXLS9xxx0 that looks suits but the power consumption is quite high and since their product is battery operated I would like to hear any better suggestions?

Could you please elaborate a bit more on customer’s application and requirements?

I would really recommend to consider the latest generation FXLS9xxx family of crash sensors based on UMEMS technology.

For low-power applications we are going to introduce the FXLS8967AF AEC-Q100 qualified 3-axis standard MEMS accelerometer (up to ±16g only).
