Can mc33665a work as signal generator for another mc33665a to measure?

 I need to simulate the signals from AFE to test the function of BMS controller which has MC33665ATS4AE.  Is it possible using another MC33665ATF4AE to trasfer the command from CANoe into TPL signals, and these TPL signals can be measured by MC33665ATS4AE in BMS? That means the battery pack emulator and cell controller can be replaced by MC33665A,  simplifying the hardware setup for HIL testbench.

I presume you want something like below, correct?

The first MC33665ATF4AE will translate the CAN signal to TPL signal and the second MC33665ATF4AE will translate the TPL signal to CAN signal. On the second MC33665ATF4AE you will need another MCU interface to read the CAN signal. Or you can use our TPL sniffer connected on the TPL pins to read and decode the TPL signal.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply and I need to explain more clearly. We will have a HIL test for real BMS which has MC33665ATS4AE(SPI) as transceiver. It is supposed to connect the cell controller using MC33771CTA2AE. But we don't have the battery pack emulator and cell controller, so my idea is to use MC33665ATF4AE(CAN) to replace the battery pack emulator and cell controller. We can configure the voltage and temperature of the cells in CANoe, and these requests are transfered to MC33665ATF4AE(CAN) by CAN messages, MC33665ATF4AE(CAN) will translate to TPL signals connecting to the real BMS. The BMS will finally read the virtual voltage and temperature signals with its MC33665ATS4AE(SPI). 

So is it possible for MC33665ATF4AE(CAN) to work reversely as signal(voltage and temperature) generator to make real BMS working?

DESCRIPTION

The message transmission mechanism of the MC33665 doesn't allow to use it in the reverse case I am afraid.
