We are developing a product for an ASIL A application using an MCU from the S32K3xx family. We have been reviewing the Safety Manual for the S32K3xx family and found about 15 hardware assumptions made about the support circuitry external to the MCU. But the Safety Manual for the S32K3xx assumes an ASIL B or ASIL D application. I would like to know which of the hardware assumptions are there to address random hardware faults (ASIL B and above), which do not apply to an ASIL A application where the focus is controlling for systemic faults?
For ASIL A, shall we only consider "General" and "Software" assumptions?
