I set the clock frequency of Z4_0 core to 250Mhz, the clock frequency of Z7_2 core to 500MHZ, and the power mode to DRUN. Running the same program, it is found that the operation time of Z7_2 is longer than that of Z4_0. Normally Z7_2 should take twice as long as Z4_0. Why is this a problem?

Hello,

Well that's hard to say.

In ideal cases the operation on Z7_2 at 500MHz should be faster.

But there can be different settings of buffers, access rights at memories/peripherals, wait-states at buses, etc..

To explain why it is not as you expecting will require deep knowledge on the system settings and also external signals to device.

Best regards,

Peter

Thank you for your answer. My problem was solved after opening the instruction cache. By the way, it is not necessary to set part of the DRAM of S32R294 to open DCACHE and part not to open DCACHE, thank you
