S32K - Attaching an SDK to an existing project

Hi,

We have used an S32K312 evaluation board and used a sample S32K312 project to develop our application code. However, our final product is based on S32K314 MCU. For this, i was trying to attach the PlatformSDK_S32K3_2022_07_S32K314_M7 to this S32K312 project. But it was not allowing me to attach this SDK to this project. So the following are my queries.

1. Will it be possible to change the SDK association of an existing project to a new SDK ?

2. Will it be possible to migrate the pin multiplexing input file (.mex) from one project to another ?

Any help is highly appreciable.

Thanks for sharing the information.

I created a new project with S32K314 as the MCU part, but i see that it is being shown as 257BGA package, but we are using QFP package. So is there an option to change the package ?

I am afraid that the most viable option is to generate a new project with the corresponding MCU and then copy the application source files from your pre-existing project as well as any customizations you made to the project properties.
