I'm trying to debug an application on my S32K144EVB using S32DS 2018.R1 Update11, running the example project BCC_S32K144_Monitoring:
Hardware: S32K144EVB-Q100 + FRDM33771CSPEVB = BATT-14EMU
The EVB is powered on, running the pre-built BMS example from the Freedom Board "MC3377xC EvalGUI"
Device Manager shows COM7 as OpenSDA, yet S32DS Debug Configurations doesn't give me a debug port to choose.I freshly rebooted Windows to make sure I don't have any other application running that may be hogging the COM7 port.
Also using TeraTerm I can connect to COM7, further indicating that the port is not in use already.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Davorin

It is possible. Current PeMicro OpenSDA Debug Driver is dated January 23rd, 2017 so it is newer than yours. You may download it here:

Fwiw, uninstalling both my S32DS versions as well as the PEMicro drivers - and then only installing 2018.R1 fixed my issue. Maybe I could have also just uninstalled the drivers and installed the one you suggested...
I just noticed these 3 drivers in Device Manager:
Could this be the cause of my issues?
"PEMicro ..." driver is version 12.3 from 2/18/2016
"pemicrowindrvr" is version 12.4 from 1/4/2017
WinDriver is also version 12.3 from 2/18/2016
Which one(s), if any, shall I remove?
Thanks,
Davorin
