We are using the MR CANHUBK344 Evaluation board.
Through PIN P6 Debug, we connected the NXP - X-DCD LZ ADAPT board and connected a USB cable to this board. We are trying to use the Matlab Simulink Model-based design toolbox. When building an example project it gives the error
"Problem occurred while downloading the application on target"
"tcp:localhost:7224: (undocumented errno 138)
"check the connection to the board or the power supply and try again!"
Please advise, from where to select the target board / how to establish connection with the board

Hi,
S32 Debug Probe does not support S32K family, I think.
I tried Multilink Universal FX (rev.C) and was able to connect to CANHUB344 board, using both direct board connection and via DCD-LZ adapter.

Hi,
The MR-CANHUB344 does not include an on board debugger.
The user needs to plug their own into either the 10 pin SWD/JTAG on board, or the 10 pin SWD on the included DCD-LZ adapter.
The DCD-LZ is only a breakout board to allow a JTAG device and a serial port device (the USB to uart cable) to combine into a single connector onto the CANHUBK344. This comes from our mobile robotics customer requirements.
So the issue is most probably due to missing JTAG debugger.

Hi, we connected S32 Debug Probe as described (refer to the image below). Still getting the same error. Please advise
Simulink Hardware Settings looks like this
