Hardware connection support for s32k144 & MC33771B

myself Krishna from India, we have bought S32K144 MC & MC33771B (development board ) to test & validate the inhouse developed BMS algorithms, we are getting confused where to connect the Positive & Negative of Real battery( not emulator) for charging & discharging of battery pack. went through some documents but did get much clarity. 

Can anyone help me with the above.
