Hi,

Could executing BIST damage the data in the RAM area? I have allocated a segment of memory in the RAM area for Standby RAM, but after executing BIST, I found that the data in the Standby RAM area was corrupted.

Hello,

Could executing BIST damage the data in the RAM area?

Yes, Memory BIST destroys RAM content as it fills it up with test patterns.

Therefore initialization is needed.

Best regards,

Peter
