S32DS and IAR toolchain support SDK

Hello.

To create IAR SDK project, do I need to install IAR 7.x?

I just installed IAR 8.x at my laptop.

but, if I create S32DS project based on 'IAR 8.x toolchain' there is no selectable SDK list.

if I create 'IAR 7.x- SDK' project, S32DS shows error finding IAR 7.x toolchain. (But, I didn't installed it.)

So, I wonder I must install IAR 7.x to create SDK project at S32DS.

Added with it, is there approximate schedule to support IAR 8.x SDK?

Hi Mac,

What version of S32 SDK you have installed in S32 DS? S32 SDK supports IAR 8.11.2 starting from BETA 1.9.0.

When you used the New Project Wizard, did you select the correct Toolchain option as below?

After selecting the correct toolchain, then click next and you should be able to select the SDK.

Hi Mac,

Unfortunately, if this is an issue related to the IAR plugin, then I cannot provide much help. You will need to contact IAR for support with that. It is a good idea to have all of the updates installed.

You must have IAR EW installed with a valid license.

After I select IAR 8.x Toolchain, there is no SDK list. 

I think that it may comes from during install S32DS update related IAR, I have some errors.

Do you have any idea how can I avoid it?
