S32 Design Studio Plugin Download

I am attempting to get S32 Design Studio certified thru my IT department so that it can be installed on our machines.

To make a long story short, there appears to be an IT policy preventing S32 Design Studio from downloading the plugins from the repositories. IT seems to be helpless in resolving the situation.

They will not certify the installation without having a copy of the plugins, however I cannot even download the plugins due to their security settings.

1. Is there an https:// site where I can download the following plugins?

NXP GCC for ARM Embedded Processors v6.3 Build 2017 with EWL2

NXP GCC for Arm Embedded Processors v9.2 build 1649

S32K1xx development package

S32SDK S32K1XX RTM 4.0.2

2.  If not, can these be made available in the NXP download area?

Thanks

Hello Glenn,

First of all, we do recommend that you use the tool 'Help -> S32DS Extension and Updates' instead of the Eclipse 'Install New Software' to install the packages.

Second, all of the packages are available for download from the Flexera site so they could be installed offline. This can be done as follows:

1) Login to your account on NXP.com

2) Select 'Apps and Services' from the menu to the left.

3) Select 'Sofware and Licensing' from within the Licensing section

4) Select 'View Accounts' under Software Licensing

5) If you have multiple accounts, select the appropriate one. Otherwise, skip to next step.

6) You should now be on the Product List page. From here you can use the following link:

https://nxp.flexnetoperations.com/control/frse/download?agree=Accept&element=13592207

7) Download the file: SW32_S32DS_OfflineDevPack_3.5.0_D2207.zip.zip

From within S32DS Extensions and Updates menu, select 'Add Update Sites' (blue linked text at the bottom of Overview) and then locate and select the file from previous step.

Best Regards,

Mike
