Hi.
I have worked for about one year with the same USB Multilink.

I have changed PC 1 mounth ago.

Yesterday I broke 2 USB Multilink suddenly:
the cable became hot and after the blue light turn off.

I\'d like to understand what happened...

Can you help me?

Thanks....

I have discovered that the neuter of my socket is 90 volt! and the case of my PC is 90V too.
The voltage supply of the target is isolated.
So it should't be a problem... or not?
Even if I started to use this PC 3 weeks ago, before I used a laptop that doesn't use the earth of the socket...

Even assuming the board's power supply was isolated, shoving 90 V onto a digital board that handles only 12 V maximum can't Be A Good Thing. The board's power supply checks out as OK? If so, there's no way a properly functioning board and its power supply could generate 90 V, so I suspect something happened to the power supply on your PC.

You'd want to try--carefully--the board on a another PC anyway to get a second opinion.

I don't have much to go on here... you're saying two cables burned up? Is this using the same eval board? And what board is it?
