NE64 COP reset only once after BDM download

Hello,

I’m having a strange problem trying to get the COP to reset my board MC9S12NE64. I’m setting the COPCTL = 0x01; but the board only resets after a fresh download from the CW BDM. After that one resets, it never resets again.

Anyone know what’s going on? Is the COP the only way to reset the chip?

Problem solved. PE was clearing the COPCTL in the startup code for RTI
