TDM interface is critical to our product in mind since the chipsets that we intend to use are giving PCM output

Questions -

Will the TDM interface for 1043 series processor be able  to take in PCM input directly or it needs something in between?

There was a mention of TDM riser card in the documentation, is that an optional component?

Does the evaluation toolkit come with some tool  which can help us generate PCM data and drive the TDM interfaces of the processor for the time being ?

Thanks

Ajay

[Platon] It depends on the frame structure,  timing and signal voltage levels of your TDM peripheral. Refer to

QEIWRM  Chapter 22,  LS1043ARM  Section 14.3.11, LS1043A Datasheet Section 3.11.2.

[Platon] Yes, it is optional.

[Platon] There are no specific configuration or data generation tools. The SDK for LS1043ARDB includes a compact TDM driver

for minimum interface testing. Details can be found in the SDK Release Notes, Chapter 32.

Have a great day,
Platon
