Hi support team,
We are considering to adopt the PCA9515DP device,
and I'm looking at the following datasheet.
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/PCA9515.pdf
Please refer to chapter 5. Pinning information on Page 3 of the datasheet.
There is "Pin description" on the page, and Pin No.1 is assigned as "n.c. (not connected)" pin according to the description.
I have the following question about implementation method of the "n.c." pin on PCB.
Question 1
In order to keep compatibility of the PCB, we are going to connect the "n.c." pin to VCC supply voltage if it's possible.
Is it possible to do that? Any problem to the device?
Could I have your answer to the above question?
Please let meknow if you have any question.
Best regards,
H.Onuma
Hi Guoweisun,
Thank you very much for your quick support.
Ok, I understand that I can connect the n.c. pin to VCC.
Best regards,
H.Onuma
N.C means no connect into the die inside of IC,so you can connect it to VCC.
