Hi,

Is PN5321A3HN/C106,55 good to go for designing in custom board because previously in the website a few months back  I could see PN5321A3HN/C106,55 is NRND?

Also What is the difference between part numbers PN5321A3HN/C106,55 and PN5321A3HN/C106;55 because when I was searching for the stock in octopart I could see the price difference between these two part numberswhere PN5321A3HN/C106,55  price is $9.357 and PN5321A3HN/C106;55 price is $8.795?

Also  Does PN5321A3HN/C106,55 comes preprogrammed I mean driver code(firmware) loaded into PN5321A3HN/C106,55 so that we can use UART/SPI/I2C protocols to communicate with our custom board MCU or do we need to write entire registers or driver development from scratch?

Hello @Aditya1

Hope you are doing well.

PN5321A3HN is Not Recommended for New Designs, and the support scope is limited to the information that can be found in the product page. We recommend using PN7160 instead.

According to PN5321A3HN Product Information, "PN5321A3HN/C106,55" packaging should correspond to TRAY-Tray, Bakeable, Multiple in Drypack; "PN5321A3HN/C106;55" packaging should correspond to TRAY-Tray, Bakeable, Single in Drypack.

From PN532 Application Note, Chapter 1 Introduction, this device features a firmware for the different support mode and the required host interfaces (SPI, I2C, HSU).

If you are still planning to use the device that is Not Recommended for New Designs, please keep in mind that you may face some supply issues in a future.

I truly apologize for the inconvenience this might cause you.

Regards,
Eduardo.
