I am working on a design using the PCA8550 and have a question about the behavior. We previously had a bug where the MUXED_OUT pins were going Hi-Z during I2C writes to the chip. We noticed in the datasheet that the outputs are disabled during I2C writes, so we switched to the NON_MUXED_OUT.
There is no mention in the datasheet about this output getting disabled, but we want to confirm if it follows the same behavior of getting disabled/going Hi-Z during register writes.
