Question related to NFMI coil simulation kit NxH2281

why do we place ferrite sheet as attached image on NFMI chip, communication distance will be reduced?

The ferrites sheet we used is DMR95 that is low loss material according to datasheet.

As you might know,  there are some of the documents and libraries which are under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) the information it's not public, the NXH2281 is one of this parts.
