Hello everyone,
I want to use the MMZ27333B 2W Amplifier that is design in the frequency range of 1500 - 2700 MHz. Is there any tuning circuit for my application frequency (1900 to 2150 MHz) ?
Thank you for reading.
Best regards.
NXP provides two designs for MM27333B: 2110–2170 MHz, 2500–2700 MHz
Two S-parameter files for the device are provided on the product page. The one that is named 1900-2300MHz has been measured using inter-stage matching circuit of 2110–2170 MHz board. The next one uses inter-stage matching of 2500–2700 MHz board.
Your target band falls into 1900-2300MHz range. So, I recommend using this S-parameters and corresponding inter-stage matching circuit to make your design.
Simulation shows that you can reuse layout of the 2110–2170 MHz. All you need is to move C2 capacitor far apart from the IC depending on the optimization target:
- 15mils to match S22 in the middle of band
- 38mils to make S21 flat over the band
