I2C programming of PCA9539PW/Q900

I would like to evaluate the PCA9539PW/Q900.

Are there any recommendations on how to program an I2C sequence with this part breadboarded?

i.e. via USB, a special card, etc?

You'd better to have a IIC controller board to read/write this device,for example the IIC generator or others MCU board with IIC interface.

I was able to acquire one and talk to the PCA9539 successfully - thanks!

There seems to be quite a few out there - is there a particular USB-to-I2C bridge kit that you've worked with and can recommend?
