I intend on using a NTGA I2C chip in a passive NFC tag setup for usage in a mobile phone dock. Can I leave the pins SDA, SCL and FD floating? Also I do not need energy harvesting, does that mean I just connect VCC to VOUT and VSS? Will I need resistors placed between VSS and VOUT or VOUT and VCC?

Thank you for helping out a NFC newbie!

Hello @vch .

>> Can I leave the pins SDA, SCL and FD floating?
Yes, you can floating them if you don't use it.

>>does that mean I just connect VCC to VOUT and VSS?
No. you don't follow the steps for the energy harvesting if you don't use it.

You can refer to the NTAG® for Tags & Labels for your application if you don't I2C and energy harvesting function.
You will find the more information as the link.

Have a nice day.
