Interfacing ATTINY85 and NTAG I2C plus (NT3H2111)

Hi, 
    How do I interface ATTINY85 and NTAG I2C Plus (NT3H2111) ? I have NDEF Formatted data in the microcontroller from there how do I interface it with the NTAG IC ? although since it is a SMD component how do I verify if it works properly or not ?

You can e.g., order an NTAG I2C Plus dev. board and connect it with your ATTINY85 device.

I'm aware about the development board present but I wanted to know how I can do it without the development board. Can you please provide any insights with regards to that ?
