I am interested in NFC technology but am confused on what hardware would go best with my the software application I am building. The device I am attempting to create is used to read a NFC enabled device (cell phone). I would like to be able to scan the cell phone on the NFC device using an application with user profiles so when they scan a database of profiles will be created. What I need to know is what NFC chips or processors will I need in order to create a device like this? I know that there are plenty of devices that could do this but I am trying to make my own variations of the product to fit my company and brand.

Thank you.

Hello,

Please take a look at NTAG I2C Plus. This device acts as a bridge between the Smartphone (NFC Interface) and the Host MCU of the device (I2C Interface): NT3H2111/2211|NXP

Have a nice day!

Regards,

Ivan.
