I have an S32K144 BLDC/PMSM Development Kit and I wanna control this kit with torque reference. Currently, I control it with a speed(rpm) reference. In the software, there is a current FOC part, can I use this part to control this motor with torque reference?

Note: I am gonna use an additional module for torque reference

Hi @Albatros

Thank you so much for your interest in our products and for using our community.

As far as I know, FOC simulates a DC motor control, use clark/park transformation to decouple so that we can control the rotor flux and torque current independently, but regarding adding a torque reference we have not any documentation, code even introduction for the algorithm.

Hope it helps you. Please let me know if you have more questions about it.

Have a nice day!

Best regards,
Leonardo
