Which IDE to use for ACIM FOC project?

Hi,

We've purchased the HVP-MC3PH platform and successfully got the accompanying FW compiled in KDS and downloaded and run on HVP-KV46F150M board. My question is now this: considering that the KDS IDE seems to be obsolete, what do you recommend,  port  to MCUXpresso or continue with KDS? And if the former alternative is recommended is there any guide to help?

Hello Ramin,

We recommend switching to MCUXpresso. There is an SDK available for the HVP-KV46F150M.

There is not an automatic tool to convert the project from KDS to MCUXpresso, so you would need to create a new project for your board from MCUXpresso and then importing your sources and work on necessary changes from there.
