Unable to connect the S32K144 RDDRONE BMS772 board using J-Link Commander

Hi,

I'm a beginner to this, and I'm trying to set up the RDDRONE BMS772 example given by NXP. After building the model, I tried flashing the ELF file onto the target board using J-Link Commander. I have attached a screenshot of the Commander Window below:

I see at the end that there are some "reset" commands, which I believe aren't allowing the connection between the PC and the evaluation board. This is also evidenced by the fact that the green LED on the board stops blinking the moment I begin the connection, and the moment I kill the Commander window, it resumes blinking.

Due to this, when I try to set up the connection through FreeMaster, it shows me the following error:

I was also wondering if this is caused by the reset jumper on J6. The example from NXP says "make sure to remove the header on J5 during the deployment process", but I'm not sure if that is what is causing this issue.

Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.
