MBDT CAN Rx Message Size

Hi,

I'm trying to recieve a CAN Message with a data length of 1 byte, however the MBDT CAN Rx block appears to be set as a uint8(8) vector. is there a way of recieving a smaller message?

CAN 2.0A & 2.0B Message Frames Nodes 0 and 1 will re-transmit their messages when the bus  16 Rx/Tx Message Buffers of up to 8 bytes Data Length.
