ADC values have unexpected jumps

Hi,

 

I am working with S32K344, and configuring the board on S32CT with MBDT1.3. I am facing a major issue with the ADC values jumping when i attach a potentiometer. I am attaching an image for the same below:

Here, the jump that you are seeing in black is for the last volts in the potentiometer (about 90% throttle press). i am not able to understand why is this happening. Can someone please guide me on this?

Hello Amol Parikh,

 

Do you have a multi-meter, with Ohm measure function that you can use to check the value of the potentiometer?

You can test the complete values of the 0-100% throttle press and check if the values read by multi-meter also jump like in the FreeMaster screenshot.

Also, I recommend you install the newer version of NXP Model-Based Design Toolbox for S32K3xx - version 1.4.0 - NXP Community

Using the s32k3xx_adc_single_read_s32ct model, the FreeMaster reading is good, using the onboard potentiometer of the S32K3X4EVB-Q172 board:
