Hi, I'm newbie in developing MCIMX6Q-SDB.

I'm planning to operating system without specific OS like android or linux.

My question is very simple.

How could I connect this board to PC by usb and make some code and debugging?

And Is windows10 can operate in that condition?

Thank you so much.

Hi,

The i.MX is a big processor and it is not common debugging applications without an OS (as Linux and Android BSPs are provided for free).

If you want to implement USB communication without OS, you could try with the SDK package (check the following webpage):

i.MX6Q|i.MX 6Quad Processors|Quad Core|Freescale

However, this USB communication is not considered for debugging. If you are looking for a debugging environment (with or without an OS), you could consider ARM DS-5 + DStream environment. You could find additional information below:

http://ds.arm.com/ds-5-community-edition/

http://ds.arm.com/ds-5/debug/dstream/

Hope this will be useful for you.
Best regards!
/Carlos
