I'm using the MPC5643L on the modular+minimodule board. Do you know if it is possible to program it with SPC5-UDESTK USB/JTAG debugger for SPC5 MCUs with software license included (by PLS) - STMicroelectro...     using the UDE debugger? I apparently can connect but I can't debug and I don't know if it is possible or not.

I am afraid it is rather question for PLS or STMicroelectronics. Try to contact their support. They should be able to tell whether it’ll work with NXP MCU version or not.

Our CodeWarrior only supports PeMicro debugger (USB Qorivva Multilink or USB Multilink Universal):
