Which clock is used for DSPI's protocol clock in MPC5744?

Dear all,

Now, I want to know that which clock is used for DSPI's protocol clock in MPC5744.

Could anyone teach me it?

In the Figure 2-8 at Page 116(Page 117 in the PDF file)  in MPC5744P Reference Manual(REV6.1)(https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/reference-manual/MPC5744PRM.pdf), the PBRIDGEx_CLK are supplied to DSPI(4).

And the word "Protocol Clock" is nothing in the DSPI(4) box.

The maximum frequency of PBRIDGE_0, PBRIDGE_1 is defined to 50MHz in the Table 13-2 in Page 339(Page 701 in the PDF file ).

But the fp(the protocol clock) is described with 100MHz or 20MHz as the example in the Table 49-5 at Page 1609(Page 1971 in the PDF file).

Is the other clock used for the protocol clock of DSPI?

Hi,

PBRIDGEx_CLK is used as protocol clock for DSPI modules.

The fp mentioned in Table 49-5 is just an example and a note below a table gives a notice about this.

Dear Petr,

Thank you for your quick answer.

I had misunderstand that the MPC5744 might be able to use until 25Mbps such as Table 49-12 in page 1628(Page 1990 in PDF file).

And I understand that MPC5744 maximum baudrate is 12.5Mbps(=50MHz/2/2).

A little disappointing.

Br, Abe.
